Grilling and BBQ accessories
Preparation, cooking and serving are easier when your tools suit the job. Explore aramid gloves, an infrared thermometer, pizza and burger tools, plus accessories for lighting the fire and serving food. Start with the tasks you do most often and compare dimensions, materials and permitted uses before choosing.
Choose tools for your cooking style
Match a pizza peel to the pizza diameter and oven opening. For burgers, distinguish a raw-meat mould from a press used during cooking. Check that each accessory fits the space where you intend to use it.
Measure and handle heat correctly
An infrared thermometer measures surface temperature rather than the temperature inside meat. Follow its instructions for accurate readings. With heat-resistant gloves, respect the temperature rating and contact time, and prepare a stable surface for hot cookware.
From lighting to serving
Use fire starters only as instructed and for their intended purpose. Check care instructions for serving accessories. A wooden serving tray is not automatically suitable as a trivet for a very hot pan. Build your kit gradually with tools that solve a specific task.
